Tamashii Nations has set up a special website celebrating “Goku Day”. There’s a link for an S.H. Figuarts Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku, on Amazon.jp, which isn’t especially interesting..
What’s more interesting is what we find at the bottom of the website.. a teaser for an upcoming S.H. Figuarts figure, with a silhouette of who could be nobody else but Jiren. Pretty big news, especially in the same day as news like this.. or this.
For those curious, it is Goku Day as 5 and 9 in Japanese can be pronounced as “Go” and “ku”. So the month, May (5) and day (9) can be pronounced “Goku”. Thusly, today can be called “Goku Day” for those in the know!
Now we really need Goku Ultra Instinct.
Yah i’m really surprised they haven’t dont this yet…also that SS Goku really needs an update, with maybe a SS2 head…
Maybe they have been waiting for the english dub to get close to the end so even more people would know about Goku UI and Jiren. Anyway a SSJ or SSJ2 2.0 would be great.
I’M STILL WAITING FOR A HIT FIGURE MAN, YET WE GET JIREN FIRST!?!? JUST COME OM TAMASHII. Also Demoniacal Fit is currently making an SS2 Goku head. So we can get that for now until tamashii makes their own.
