S.H. Figuarts ‘Ultra Instinct Goku’ to be Revealed at SDCC ’19

Tamashii Nations announced via their official Instagram account that they would be displaying a prototype of the newly announced S.H. Figuarts “Ultra Instinct Goku” at the first stop of this year’s Dragon Ball Tour.

The figure will be a “display only” piece and will be available for viewing at San Diego Comic Con 2019 at the Tamashii Nations booth, #3545 in the San Diego Convention Center.

No word on the release date yet, though we expect it wont be too far off. Especially considering that S.H. Figuarts ‘Jiren’ was just given a hard release date in recent weeks.

  1. That looks pretty disappointing if that’s all there is to this figure…was hoping they would figure out a way to add that UI glow to him…maybe some special iridescent material for the hair. This looks like modified version of awakening goku…

    • I can agree with your sentiments. If I’m being honest I’ve been more disappointed with the non-articulated figures coming out lately. Constantly reusing poses and sculpts with low quality paint jobs have resulted in boring offerings.

At least SHF has a little more going on in terms of effort made. Though I’m starting to question the price point vs. what is offered.
