S.H. Figuarts Captain Ginyu and Great Ape Vegeta

Tamashii Nations has revealed some of the most exciting prototypes I’ve ever seen, with two new character designs; Captain Ginyu and Great Ape Vegeta. Great Ape Vegeta would be the first Oozaru form we’ve seen in the line thus far and Captain Ginyu would be the first member of the Ginyu Force to see a release in the S.H. Figuarts line.

I’m hoping that Captain Ginyu getting the prototype treatment means that he’ll certainly see a release and soon at that. I’d also like to believe that this means we will eventually get the entire Ginyu Force at some point.

What’s more exciting is the reveal of an S.H. Figuarts Great Ape Vegeta. As mentioned above, this would be the first Oozaru form to be released in the S.H. Figuarts line. I can only hope that the figure is giant and in scale, even though it’d likely be an extremely expensive release.

Could this mean we may also finally see a Raditz in the future? I’d certainly like to see the Saiyan Saga figures given more attention.

Last, but not least, at the same show an S.H. Figuarts Bulma was displayed with a motorcycle. Could we finally see S.H. Figuarts venture into the vehicles of Dragon Ball? Saiyan Space Pods and a the Capsule Corp Ship the Z Fighters traveled to Planet Namek in would be much appreciated.

No word on release dates, prices or anything of that nature. These are all just prototypes and as long term collectors may know; prototypes can take a considerable amount of time to come to market.
