The official site announced the Meteor Mission 3 card set in Japan and below you can see all the new cards including four new SEC cards, 10 UR cards, 14 Movie Matchup cards, five Dramatic Art Cards, and a chance to get a Premium UR card. This game is very popular with the kids in the Japan, but not sure if it has a big following here in the states. You can check them out below:

This chapter in the SDBH card game for kids just launched in Japan. We dont really have this in the US since arcades have gone the way of the MP3 player, but kids in Japan buy these cards and they bring them to the arcade to play on the machines. I’ve never played it before, but ive seen people play it and its basically a turn based card game that you need the machine to display the graphics. The cards are used as trading cards as well like Pokemon and YuGiOh. If you play this, let me know in the comments.

The official site announced the release of Super Dragon Ball Heroes Ultra God Mission 6 in Japan today including several cards and campaigns. There are characters from the current SDBH anime and also characters from DBZ, and GT as well. Check them all out below.

Not sure how popular this is here stateside aside from the 8-9 minute anime clips each month, but V-Jump books just announced this Super Guide for sale. So far no local retailers are carrying this so the only way to get it is on ebay. This guide includes three special cards featuring Cell, Goku and SSJ2 Kid Gohan and also features the new SSJ4 Limit Breaking Style as well as promotional material regarding the current Supreme Kai of Time Arc. Super Dragon Ball Heroes – Ultra God Mission

I don’t know how many of you pay attention to this series, but I have been following this anime on and off since it started in 2018 after the end of DBS. The concept is based on the card game and i guess this is supposed to get fans excited to play the game with new characters, and what if scenarios you don’t get with the regular manga series.

They have been bringing together characters from different universes and times and dimensions for quite a while now and even inventing new characters, especially from the god realm that makes the character designs look more like something out of Dragon Quest (another Toriyama IP) and not DBS.

This series starts out with a tournament of power like format with warriors from different parts of the Dragon Ball universe and we are shown a hooded bad guy who people are assuming to be an evil Future Gohan due to his use of just one hand and also the scar on his face. Since these episodes are very short and come out only once a month, it takes time for the story to build and my guess is that in the end the fromer Supreme Kai of Time, Aios, will end up being defeated.

Along with all the articles yesterday on the official site detailing the 11 Anniversary of Super Dragon Ball Heroes, there were also a bunch of videos on youtube that were released for the card game. The most interesting was the trailer for the special movie that shows off where they left off on the anime and then it takes you back to Majin Vegeta vs Goku in the Buu arc. One of the more interesting things they done recently was the what if situation where Fu goes back in time to help Bardock beat Frieza with Time Patroller Trunks also going back to try and stop them. I think this would be a better way to go rather than with the tree of life story line they have been going with for a while now and all the crazy power-ups. Pretty soon the SSGSS Gogeta will fuse with SSJ4 Gogeta and even then the character may become underpowered. Anyways, enjoy below:

The Story Behind Dragon Ball Carddass

This story brought back good memories from the early 90s when these cards were popular. They never made it stateside, but I remember spending a lot of coins in these machines to see what kind of card I would get. The official site interviewed Takaaki Orihara, project leader for Dragon Ball Cardass since 1992; Watarau Higuchi, one of the creators of Dragon Ball Heroes; and Yoshito Moteki, another creator of Dragon Ball Heroes.
