Just when I thought there is a lull in the number of new figure announcements, Bandai just announced Super Android 17 as part of their S.H. Figuarts line. It seems like they skipped over the Cell series characters as well as the Buu Saga characters and are focusing more on Dragon Ball GT now. Super Android 17 also comes with a plastic Golden Dragon Backdrop to display with Kid Goku to complete his Dragon Fist attack. This figure is listed as 9900 yen including tax with an availability of December 2024. So it will be about 90-100 bucks once it lands on premium bandai. Pre-orders will start on the 19th.
