Bandai has announced a new upcoming iteration of their Ichiban Kuji prize lottery program via their social media accounts. The new Ichiban Kuji is called “HISTORY OF RIVALS” and so far, only one figure from the prize lottery has been revealed: Yamcha!
The revealing of Yamcha as the first figure in this Ichiban Kuji leads me to believe that the theme of this prize lottery is all of Goku’s rivals, perhaps all the way up to rivals he faces in Dragon Ball Super. Yamcha is arguably his first real rival in the original Dragon Ball, so this is a great place to start, if that is indeed the theme of this Kuji.
The figure is sculpted by Takamatsu and won’t see release until this Ichiban Kuji begins in March, 2020.

This sculpt is great. Although I would like to see the same figure with the OG DB outfit. With all the green. That is my favorite Yamcha look for sure.
