We are treated to a bit of a surprise and a lot longer episode for this week to reveal the results of Goku’s top quotes from the Goku day campaign back on May 9th. Not only was Toyotarou sensei on set with his face cover but they also invited four of the people who are in charge of various departments in Bandai to announce products they were working on based on this campaign. They include the R Hei who is in charge of Ichibankuji with his mask, Yamagami from Bandai Candy department (Super Wafer Seals), Onishi from Bandai Vendor department (Gashapon Products), and Takeuchi from Bandai Fashion department.
They went over the top ten quotes submitted by fans and we found out some interesting tid-bits including #8 being the only one from Toyotarou, and several quotes from the Frieza arc. Some also though that Goku could have saved King Kai if he worked fast enough in the Cell saga. The winner of the contest was the “Lower Class Saiyan” quote from Goku’s fight with Vegeta and this goes to show how good of a character Vegeta was when he was powerful and bad. They also announced various products in development that will released within the next few months and into the first quarter of 2024.
