In the latest episode of weekly Dragon Ball news, they are highlighting events related to the upcoming Goku day on May 9 kind of like how Disney has May 4th as the Star Wars day. As you may know the numbers five and nine is pronounced the same as the main character of Dragon Ball in Japanese.
4/28: Imagination Works Vegeta – This was announced last week and Bandai is finally releasing Vegeta in this new premium figure series.
Dragon Ball Legends also introduced Androids 17 and 18.
For May 9th, they have a few special goods including Dokkan Battle featuring Goku, Gohan and Goten. There will also be a series of Goku commemorative figures pictured below.

And they also announced the released of the new Dragon Ball Official Site that may put us out to pasture. No link yet but we will update when it is available.
One thing they didn’t mention was the announcement of the X-Plus Gigantic Series Golden Frieza that they announced over the weekend. This is one of my favorite figure series due to their large size the impact they have. X-Plus generally releases two Dragon Ball figures a year and this will be the second for this year. Release will be in September with a price of 14300 yen so about $143.
