The figure comes in colored in red and gold, colors representative of China. The figure is being released in time to correspond with the Spring Festival, which marks the change of year in China as well as other observant Asian nations. The festival takes place in January and sometimes February.
The figure was made available at Toys R Us locations in Hong Kong for pre-order last month with an expected delivery for mid-January; though it has been reported that some dealers were making the figure available for purchase at this time as well. The figure was being sold for 499.99 HKD / $65.99 USD.
