Tamashii Features 2020: Ginyu Force Revealed and More

Tamashii Nations reported via their official Japanese website that a virtual reality event called “Tamashii Features 2020” would be taking place on July 4th and 5th. The event features the slogan “Now is the Time to Enjoy Figures at Home” and appears to be replacing the in person version of the Tamashii Features annual festival in Bellesalle, Akihabara; due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Now that the event is upon us, reveals and information has been made available. The first and most important reveal to me is the S.H. Figuarts Ginyu Force display. As you can see in the photos below from Dengeki Hobby, they have prototypical examples of every member of the Ginyu Force already. However, it would appear Guldo is still in the earliest stages of the prototyping process, as he is the only figure lacking articulation.

Additionally, the show features a display of the recently revealed S.H. Figuarts Bardock, which was announced officially this past Father’s Day Holiday.

The last display of note I want to talk about is the Figuarts ZERO Super Saiyan Gogeta -Fusion Reborn-. We also posted about this release previously at this site, so check out that post if you haven’t.

This statue retails for $78 not including tax/shipping and will release in January, 2021. Gogeta and Jiece will be the fourth and fifth figure released from Premium Bandai!

  1. Guldo is probably packed in with one of the others as an accessory. Kind of like how a non-articulated yajirobe and goku are packed in with ape vegeta. They probably felt like he was too tiny to have articulation.
