A few weeks ago at Tamashii Nation 2015 we were treated to several prototype figures that have never been shown before, however it’s no secret that prototypes don’t always make it into production.
Well the first figure from the show to be confirmed for production is the “Cell Games Trunks” figure, which was displayed with a non-Super Saiyan, as well as a Super Saiyan head. It also looks as if this figure will NOT be a web exclusive, meaning the figure could be reissued like Piccolo, Super Saiyan Goku and Super Saiyan Gohan.
The figure will be dropping in May of 2016, as confirmed by Shonen Jump’s Japanese website. So be ready!
Suh-weet! I just hope we see more of these prototypes go into production, like the kid Goku and SSG Goku. Oh, and the Champa! He’s adorable!
