San Diego Comicon 2023 starts today and the official Tamashii Nations page showed off some prototype Dragon Ball Z figures from the beginning of the Android saga. Looks like we will be getting a King Cold figure as well as a Mecha Frieza to complete all his different forms. No word yet on price or availability, but you can check out the pics below:
They are also heavily promoting Sand Land, which is another creation by Akira Toriyama with the World Premiere movie screening as well as a handful of new figures. Attendees also get special prizes!
Finally, not related to Dragon Ball or Akira Toriyama, but Monster Arts is releasing it’s first Yu-Gi-Oh Blue Eyes White Dragon Figure. Not sure how many of you are into Yu-Gi-Oh but growing up with Dragon Ball Z in the 90s, this was naturally something to transition into. Although I wished they would also do some Dragon Ball characters in the Monster Arts line, this is an interesting character for them to include aside from all the Godzillas and Gameras
