It looks like we’re about to witness the beginning of “web only exclusives” in the United States. As some of you may already know, in Japan S.H. Figuarts has “web only exclusives” that are exclusively sold online. This makes these figures slightly harder to acquire, as they will not be made available to traditional brick and mortar stores.
Tamashii Nations and Bandai have recently made the announcement that the upcoming Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegito will be available only at Premium Bandai. All of this is set to begin on April, 2nd and to further matters, interested parties must register with Premium Bandai before they’re able to make any orders.
Could this be the beginning of a new era and methodology for attaining exclusives? What are your thoughts on this change? Sound off in the comments section.
Premium bandai really needs to focus on other product lines like X-Plus…
For God’s sake. I think this may be the single dumbest thing Tamashii has ever done, other than severely limiting Goku Black when he first came out. This is just stupid, especially if he’s like the others where he’s only available for a few months.
