They released the fancy new packaging for the upcoming Imagination Works Son Goku. It comes in a matte black box with chrome color changing letters and the figure on the front for that premium feel. Gone is the clear plastic windows found in S.H. Figuarts as well as the old X-Plus packaging. The new X-Plus figures starting with UI Sign Goku and Android 17 no longer have the clear plastic windows. Hopefully Figuarts doesn’t go this route as well as I like to display them inside the packaging. This releases in Japan next month and will ship in the US in December/January.
