Bandai Ichiban Kuji Dragon Ball Strong Chains

I’m a little late with this; but August 2020’s Ichiban Kuji is to be called “Strong Chains” and is offering an unusual Prize A figure. The Prize A figure is a Jackie Chun figure with an interchangeable Master Roshi head. Err.. maybe it’s a Master Roshi with an interchangeable Jackie Chun head. Either way, Prize A in this particular Ichiban Kuji is a very unique release!

The rest of the line up is as follows:

Prize A Roshi / Jackie Chun
Prize B Krillin
Prize C Vegeta Base Form
Prize D Gokou Base Form
Last Prize Photo Krillin and Gohan

I don’t have an HD photo of the Last Prize, but there’s a very low quality photo below that shows the whole line up, along with the Krillin and Gohan last prize. Speaking of which, if you count the Last Prize, this Kuji has TWO Krillins! Glad to see the non-Saiyans get more attention.

About Ichiban Kuji:

As per usual, the Ichiban Kuji Prize Lottery will be held at convenience stores across Japan. This includes stores like 7/11 and Lawsons, amongst others. Tickets are sold at the register and cost 680JPY. Each ticket gives you the opportunity to win one of the offered prizes.

The “Last One” Prize:

In many Ichiban Kuji lotteries there is a prize known as the “Last One” prize. For many Ichiban Kuji’s this prize is the most desirable, as it is often the more rare offering of the lottery. This prize is only given away at the end of the prize lottery, when all of the other “main” prizes have been won. This is done to encourage participation through the very end of the campaign.

The “Double Chance” Prize:

In addition to the “Last One” prize there is another prize called the “Double Chance” prize. Each ticket has a QR code on the back, if you scan it, you will be entered into another draw to win the “double chance” prize. As you can see, it earns this name by offering anyone who already bought a ticket, to win a secondary prize.

  1. Anyone using this time at home to watch old DBZ or GT series? I never actually watched the entire GT series so been going through that and after that I’ll be going through the Buu series…went through the DB Abridged series the last two few weeks and that was a hilarious take on the Z series through the Cell saga, definitely recommend if you haven’t seen it.
