The V Jump July Special Issue hits shelves in Japan on Wednesday, May 21st, and it’s packed with Dragon Ball excitement from cover to cover.

As part of the DRAGON BALL 40th Anniversary Project, a major collector’s item is being unveiled: the Dragon Ball Complete 42 Volume Set Double Cover Box. This set features all 42 volumes, each with a brand-new illustrated cover layered over the original Jump Comics design, created by an all-star lineup of artists. It’s a stunning tribute to four decades of legendary manga. For full details, check out the related article at the bottom of the page.
In trading card news, the issue includes bonus cards from two Dragon Ball games:

From Dragon Ball Super Card Game Fusion World, you’ll get FP-042 Android 17. If your leader has the “Android” trait, this card lets you play a Battle Card with the same trait and a cost of 3 or less directly from your hand. And if you KO’d an opponent’s Battle Card this turn, Android 17’s power jumps by +15000 when he attacks. A fierce combination of field control and sheer power, this card is built to dominate.

From Dragon Ball Super Divers, the bonus is SDVPJ-014 Bardock. Win an attack strike battle and all enemy combat power in the targeted area drops by 1000. Bardock also comes with the new action skill “Targeting Bomb,” set to debut with the fourth volume of the game.

There’s more. The issue features breaking news on two upcoming starter decks in Fusion World, both releasing on Saturday, June 14th. Straight from Dragon Ball Legends, Shallot and Giblet are entering the scene as new leader cards.
Also revealed is new info about Bulma, the leader card from the MANGA BOOSTER 01 [SB01], launching Saturday, June 28th. Her design features manga illustrations by Akira Toriyama and introduces a new kind of tactical gameplay.

Fans of Dragon Ball Super Divers can get a sneak peek at Volume 4, arriving Thursday, May 22nd. Key highlights include Son Goku: DA and Goma: DA, cards that bring the climactic battle of Dragon Ball DAIMA to life. Six PUR (Pickup Rare) cards will also debut with the new “Targeting Bomb” action skill, making this set one to watch.
Beyond the cards, the magazine features a variety of Dragon Ball content, including an interview with Toyotaro by Morning Musume ’25’s Maria Makino, updates on Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and its DAIMA-themed DLC, and the latest from Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.
