Interview With Masako Nozawa & Toshio Furukawa!

The DBS Super Hero movie comes out today in Japan and due to the limited entry to the country, only those who are there right can go see it. Unfortunately, there is no travelling to Japan right now watch, except if you have a ton of money to bribe someone. So hopefully someone there will be posting a good review of the movie and not the overly hyped reviews of screen captures that is currently on youtube.

On the official site, they released what I think is the last of the interview series featuring Masako Nozawa, who is the voice of Goku, Gohan and Goten so all the males in the Goku family and Toshio Furukawa, who is the voice of Piccolo and he was also interviewed in a previous segment.

It seems like they’ve all been working together throughout all of Dragon Ball so they are very familiar with each other and I found it interesting that they did their parts separately. Most times in an anime, all the voice actors get in the same room to record the scenes together to feed off each other’s energy. I dont know if this was because of COVID or if she usually does this, but they did the recordings separately for Super Hero. What I also found interesting was her reaction to the number of US fans that showed up to her autograph signing. Hopefully she will be able to make it over here again in the near future. You can read the entire interview here!
