Today, we’ll take a look at what’s happening in the world of Dragon Ball during the week of September 7th.
But first, let’s go over some of the biggest news from last week.
Last Week’s News
Saikyo Jump’s October edition hit stores across Japan on Friday, September 4th.
This issue features a special look at Fusion World, including information on the Secret Rare cards included in the lineup for the 11th booster set. There’s also an example deck featuring this issue’s bonus Son Goku card.
The Super Divers feature focuses on the GDR and PUR cards included in the 12th set, “Innate Attack.”
And don’t forget to try your luck with the scratch-off giveaway. If you’re lucky, you could win a Battle of Saiyans Advance Pack.
This issue also includes the latest chapters of the “Let’s! Super Dive!!” and Dragon Ball SD manga, along with plenty of the latest information on Dragon Ball games, Gashapon, and more.
Moving on, a new trailer for DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3 was released on Friday, September 4th.
The latest entry in the XENOVERSE series is scheduled to launch in 2027, and this newest trailer gives us a closer look at the avatars players will be able to use in the game.

On Monday, August 31st, a Dragon Ball SD Update went live on the Saikyo Jump YouTube channel.
Then, on Thursday, September 3rd, the Dragon Ball Z History Box Goten & Trunks became available from crane games.
Also on Thursday, September 3rd, the Dragon Ball Z BLOOD OF SAIYANS -Super Saiyan Trunks- II figure became available from crane games.
And finally, the Dragon Ball World Collectable Figure series -Youth Edition Set 6- also arrived in crane games on Thursday, September 3rd.

Now, let’s move on to this week’s news.
Super Gogeta joins the fray in DRAGON BALL GEKISHIN SQUADRA on Wednesday, September 9th.

Super Gogeta will join the hit 4-on-4 team battle game, GEKISHIN SQUADRA.
Use Super Gogeta’s abilities to strip your opponents of their freedom and gain the upper hand in battle.
There will also be several campaigns celebrating the upcoming first anniversary of GEKISHIN SQUADRA.
You won’t want to miss these seven campaigns, which include five free daily Capsules, for a maximum of 140 Capsules, new special Hero Sets, and more.

Moving on, Fusion World’s new “BRIGHTNESS OF HOPE” booster packs are set to hit stores in Japan on Saturday, September 12th.
The English version is scheduled to launch on Friday, October 16th.

I’m Ueda from Bandai’s Card Division, and I’m a development producer for DRAGON BALL SUPER CARD GAME Fusion World.
Today, I’ll be showing off some of the cards from the “BRIGHTNESS OF HOPE” boosters, which are set to launch on September 12th.
These boosters include a ton of cards from a collaboration with the app game DRAGON BALL LEGENDS.
Let’s take a look at some of the Alternate Art cards from the “BRIGHTNESS OF HOPE” boosters.
First up are the Alternate Art Leader cards.
We’ve got Son Goku, Trunks: Future/Son Gohan: Future, Goku Black, Shallot/Giblet, and Bardock.
And here’s what they look like after awakening.
Trunks: Future/Son Gohan: Future awakens into Trunks: Future, while Shallot/Giblet awakens into Shallet.
This Shallet card features a design based on the illustration of LEGEND Super Saiyan God Shallet, which was drawn for the eighth anniversary of DRAGON BALL LEGENDS.
Moving on, here are the Alternate Art Secret Rare cards.
There are three of them: a Red Son Goku, a Yellow Shallet, and a Black Bardock.
The Shallet card features artwork that was originally used in the “Celebrate 8 Years! Open Up! Panel Adventure 2” DRAGON BALL LEGENDS event.
And that’s not all.
Here are the Super Alternate Art Secret Rare cards.
All three Secret Rares in the “BRIGHTNESS OF HOPE” boosters also have Super Alternate Art versions.
In addition to the illustration I just showed you, this Super Alternate Art Shallet is an ultra-luxurious version featuring Shallot and Giblet before their Fusion.
The “BRIGHTNESS OF HOPE” booster lineup includes not only the cards I’ve shown today, but also plenty of other special cards.
