The mobile game Dragon Ball Legends launched its new LEGEND RISING collaboration with Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 on April 28. This event introduced Ultra Supervillains Goku Black and Vegeta, along with Trunks (Xeno). Their designs and animations closely mirror their appearances in Xenoverse 2, offering fans a faithful crossover experience.
On May 2, the June issue of Saikyo Jump hit shelves in Japan. The issue features a special focus on Fusion World, including an in-depth look at standout Leader cards from the game’s 10th booster pack. It also includes a bonus Gotenks card, coverage of Super Divers’ latest set, and the newest chapter of the “Let’s! Super Dive!!” manga. Additional content highlights upcoming developments in GEKISHIN SQUADRA, Goku Day merchandise, and other Dragon Ball updates.
Another highlight from last week was the release of the Dragon Ball SOLID EDGE WORKS -THE SHUTSUJIN- Kamesennin figure, available through crane games. As with many prize figures, availability and specifications may vary.

Looking ahead, the Ichiban Kuji Dragon Ball THE CHRONICLE OF GOKU lottery lineup arrives in Japan on May 8. This collection celebrates Goku’s evolution over time, featuring figures that depict him as a child, a Super Saiyan, and even a Great Ape. The lineup also includes Bulma and Majin Vegeta, designed to complement the Goku figures.
With Goku Day approaching, Dragon Ball Store Tokyo is rolling out a wide range of themed merchandise. Among the standout items are premium goods with foil detailing, including a 3D acrylic stand and collectible buttons. The layered design of the acrylic stand creates a striking three-dimensional effect.
There are also practical items for everyday use, such as a minimalist Goku T-shirt and a seasonal water bottle ideal for warmer weather. Additional merchandise includes keychains, stickers, and tote bags. Customers who make purchases in-store will receive a special opalescent bookmark, which reflects light with a unique shimmer.
The same Goku illustration featured on the merchandise will also appear as an in-store standee, tying into a related photo campaign.
Another major update is the upcoming Goku Day Special Pass for Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra, scheduled to release on May 9 at 15:00 JST.
Finally, the official Dragon Ball website will continue its regular content updates this week, including the ongoing Toriyama Archives series and a new Weekly Character Showcase arriving May 5. Release dates remain subject to change.
