Dragon Ball News for the Week of May 19th, 2025

Good morning Dragon Ball Fans, welcome to another exciting episode of Weekly Dragon Ball News!

Starting with last week’s news, Dram Tomica released their Dragon Ball Collab Wave 1 featuring Goku’s Kintoun and Bulma’s #9 bike. There are four other vehicles that will be released as part of Dragon Ball’s 40th Anniversary celebration. The other news from last week was the release of Super Divers Advance Pack 2 and Captain Ginyu Crane Game figure that we covered in individual posts.

For this week’s news, the July edition of V-Jump will go on sale on Wednesday, May 21st and will include two bonus cards, Bardock from Super Divers and Android 17 from Fusion World. This issue will also have information on Dragon Ball Legends’ 7th anniversary and Dragon Ball’s 40th anniversary merchandise. The big news this week is the launch of the 4th set of Dragon Ball Super Divers on Thursday, May 22nd. It seems like they are focusing much more on cards lately than on figures and there will be an individual post on this in the coming days. Omiso, the Producer in training of Super Divers shows off all the cards from the new set. The god rare cards include Perfect Cell, Android 18, Android 17, Piccolo,a nd SSJ Gohan. Next are three cards from the Frieza revival arc featuring Golden Frieza, SSB Vegata, and SSB Goku. And two more god rares including Goku: Daima in SSJ3 and SSJ4 all on the same card as well as Gomah Daima. There are also the pickup rares including Frieza, Mister Satan, Piccolo, SSJ Trunks, SSJ Vegeta, and SSJ Goku. Finally is the extra rare cards including SSJ3 Goku and SSJ Vegeta fighting imperfect Cell. Finally on Friday, May 23rd, Dragon Ball Legends will announced their 7th anniversary information on a streaming broadcast on the Bandai Namco Entertainment’s YouTube channel.
