Good morning, Dragon Ball fans! It’s time for another exciting episode of Weekly Dragon Ball News!
Let’s kick things off with some updates from last week: The Dragon Ball 40th Anniversary website got a fresh update on December 20th, introducing new quizzes that will be rolled out every week. Make sure to check back often to test your Dragon Ball knowledge! On the same day, they released the Supersized February edition of V-Jump magazine, which we’ve already shared some juicy details about.
Now, onto this week’s news! We have a special guest – Producer Katahiro from the legendary (but often quiet) Dragon Ball Candy Division! He’s here to chat about the Sofubi Dragon Ball figures, which are adorable soft vinyl collectibles with chunky, action-packed poses. These figures are currently available only in Japan, but fingers crossed they’ll make their way to the U.S. soon!
And speaking of cool collectibles, a few exciting new game center prizes are landing by the end of the month: King Gomah with Panel, Gxmaterial Turles, and a Shenron plush that’s sure to be a fan favorite. Plus, don’t forget that new episodes of Dragon Ball SD will be airing this weekend!
