First Form Cell reveals that he was able to get to the present time through pure luck in his time defeating Trunks and taking his time machine. The machine was set to the present universe and his goal is mainly to get as strong as possible. Just like a Saiyan as quoted by Piccolo. He then rips off his arm, powers up and regrows his arm to the surprise of Cell. He then reveals that his knowledge is a bit off and that Piccolo is now at god level.
