Gather ’round, mortals and fanboys, and listen well. The Tokyo Toy Show 2025 is approaching and it’s the biggest spectacle of plastic and power Japan has to offer. Held at Tokyo Big Sight, West Halls 1 through 4, it’s where weaklings gawk at the latest toys… and warriors like me size up the merchandise worth our attention.
Now, brace yourselves: Bandai’s booth—located in West Hall 2—is unleashing a Dragon Ball exhibit that might actually be worth your time.
So what is this so-called “Tokyo Toy Show 2025”?

Since 1962, it’s been Japan’s largest toy trade fair. It starts with two “Business Days” for the suit-wearing crowd, then unleashes Public Days on Saturday, August 30th, and Sunday, August 31st. If you’re in high school or older, it’ll cost you 2,000 yen to get in (junior high and below? You weaklings get in free, how fitting).
Inside Bandai’s Booth – Power Overload!

“Dragon Ball Super Divers” will take center stage with a new promotional video set to explode across the screens. But that’s not all…
Prepare yourselves for the debut of the “Golden Machine”, exclusive to the Super Divers Arena. It spits out Special Avatar Cards, and yes, they’ll be on full display, gleaming like the pride of a Saiyan elite. This is your first chance to see them—don’t embarrass yourself by missing it.
Think That’s All? Think Again.

There’s also an X campaign, whatever that means. Repost a certain post at the Bandai booth, and you’ll receive a “Promotion Pack -Vol.1-” right then and there. But be warned: supplies are limited. If you show up late, don’t come crying to me.
And of course, there’ll be brand-new Dragon Ball merchandise on display. You want power? It’s there. You want glory? It’s there. You want a reason to pretend you’re even half the fighter I am? Well… this is as close as you’ll get.
