Dragon Ball Gexin Squadra – Network Test Underway

Dragon Ball Gexin Squadra: Explosive 4v4 Battles Begin Now

Step into the arena with Dragon Ball Gexin Squadra, the all-new 4 vs 4 team battle game where your favorite Dragon Ball characters clash in spectacular, fast-paced combat.

The official title was just revealed, and the network test is live until Monday, June 16 at 14:59 (scheduled). Jump in and get your first taste of this epic showdown.

Even the staff over at the Dragon Ball official site couldn’t resist diving into the action the moment the test began.

Play It Your Way

You can join the battle from almost anywhere:
Smartphones, PC, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, and Nintendo Switch™ are all supported. With cross-play and cross-save, you can team up with friends across platforms—whether you’re at home or on the go.

The Battlefield: What to Expect

Matches are 4-on-4 team brawls. Each player selects one character to control. The character roster is packed with iconic fighters—starting, of course, with Super Saiyan Goku.

Before every match, a special system called Kami-Draw randomly selects two unique rules to shake up the gameplay. In one round, “Kumo-Hide” filled the stage with clouds, making visibility a challenge. Another twist, “Enemy Bomb,” caused fallen enemies to explode, damaging everyone nearby.

The Objective: Seize the Dragon Ball

You start near the Dragon Ball on your side of the field. Your goal is to push into enemy territory and capture their Dragon Ball at the far end.

But it’s not that simple—a powerful God of Destruction guards the way, and you won’t be strong enough to defeat them right away. Instead, you’ll need to fight scattered enemies to level up, unlock new skills, and prepare for the ultimate showdown.

As chaos erupts with exploding enemies and heavy fog, the game becomes a wild mix of action and strategy. Even if you’re taken down, the High Priest revives you, though you’ll need to sprint back into battle from your base.

You’ll also want to keep your God of Destruction alive—he can heal you, but if he’s taken out, your path forward just got a lot harder.

Power Up and Transform

As you earn experience, you’ll unlock powerful skills like the Kamehameha, and level them up for even more impact. Reach higher levels, and some characters—like Goku—can even transform mid-match into stronger forms, complete with flashy animations.

Goku transforming into a Super Saiyan mid-battle? It looks amazing—and yes, it gives you a serious power boost.

When Zen-Oh appears, he creates a limited-time opening to unleash the Gexin Burst, a devastating God-level attack that can take down even Beerus. Team up with your allies and take him out together!

Once the path is clear, it’s a race to the enemy’s Dragon Ball. Expect an all-out brawl in the final moments—use your special moves to hold your ground and claim victory.

In one match, Frieza sealed the win by snatching the final Dragon Ball—fighting alongside Goku no less. Seeing these two work together is just as wild and entertaining as it sounds.

First Impressions: It’s a Blast

After playing, one thing is clear: this game is a ton of fun.

The early game is all about leveling up and preparing, but things quickly escalate into a wild, all-team assault on the enemy’s God of Destruction. The objective is simple—get the Dragon Ball—but how you achieve it depends on your role. Whether you’re attacking, defending, or supporting, there’s always something important to do. And each match feels rewarding.

Signature Techniques That Steal the Show

There are some seriously cool moves that Dragon Ball fans will love:

  • Frieza (First Form) is joined by Zarbon and Dodoria. Command Dodoria to charge the enemy at full speed.
  • Majin Buu: Good turns enemies into sweets—yes, even Vegeta gets turned into chocolate!
At max skill level, the candy gets even bigger and more dangerous. It’s adorable and terrifying at the same time.

Custom Skins for Maximum Style

Another fun feature: character skins that let you change outfits.

The in-game shop includes iconic looks like the driver’s license outfits from Dragon Ball Z—yes, that means Goku and Piccolo in their legendary civilian gear. There’s even the infamous BADMAN shirt, animated and all. It’s flashy, ridiculous, and perfect.
