This Week’s News

The super-sized January edition of V Jump hits shelves in Japan on Thursday, November 20th. This issue includes a special feature on the launch of Divers’ 7th set and comes with a bonus “Vegito” card for Dragon Ball Super Divers. Those who apply can also receive a BUPPA pack containing “Vegito,” “Gotenks,” and “Majin Buu (Pure).” There’s a bonus “Son Goku” Fusion World card as well. The issue is packed with updates on games, figures, and more.

Also launching on Thursday, November 20th: Dragon Ball Super Divers’ 7th set. Project lead Master Diver Minato shared a preview of what’s coming.

The set spotlights two top-tier warriors, Vegito and Gogeta.

  • The Vegito card features the new BUPPA skill and the “Stunning Finisher,” which boosts your damage by 1.5x when you win a Strike Battle in the third area from the second round onward. Use it after going Super Saiyan to power up your special move even further.
  • The Super Saiyan Gogeta card debuts the “Single Strike” action skill. Activating it in Single Strike Mode allows you to deal damage, restore energy, and slightly drain your opponent’s. It’s especially effective in PvP.
  • The “Masked Saiyan” card also uses the new Single Strike skill. With “Strike of Despair: Mask,” you can triple your power, halve your opponent’s, and dramatically boost the strength of your special move.

The 7th set also introduces three special GDR cards to celebrate the first anniversary.

  • Starting Saturday, November 22nd, players who use their Diver Passport will receive a GDR Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Goku card featuring both the BUPPA and Single Strike skills.
  • A first anniversary lottery begins Thursday, November 20th, with the grand prize being a GDR Super Saiyan Vegito card.
  • There’s also a celebration campaign where hitting the jackpot in-game earns you a GDR Super Saiyan Gogeta card. Staff will issue the prize on the spot.

All three anniversary GDR cards are true standouts, so check the official site for full details and grab them while you can. The 7th set launches Thursday, November 20th, and promises to be an exciting one.

Alongside the release, V Jump is publishing a commemorative book celebrating one year of Divers. It includes the latest information on the 7th set, BUPPA-battle-ready decks, an exclusive “Gogeta” card, a special app, and an Upgrade Card that grants experience points.
