Welcome to a new episode of Weekly Dragon Ball News!
First, some big news.
Pre-orders are currently open until Tuesday, March 31st for the “DRAGON BALL S.H.Figuarts Collection SON GOKU 〈ONWARDS TO ADVENTURE〉” set. It may become available for international orders at a later date.
Victory Asada is here with more details.
Hi! I’m Victory Asada, in charge of Dragon Ball content for V Jump and Saikyo Jump.
Let me tell you about the “DRAGON BALL S.H.Figuarts Collection SON GOKU 〈ONWARDS TO ADVENTURE〉” set, now available for pre-order.
This is an impressive set that includes both a poseable figure and a history book.
First, the S.H.Figuarts SON GOKU 〈ONWARDS TO ADVENTURE〉 figure features a rare outfit illustrated by Akira Toriyama, brought to life as a fully poseable model. Created by a top team of sculptors, it uses the latest figure technology to allow natural-looking Kamehameha poses. You can also combine it with the Nyoibo or the waist wrap to create dynamic displays.
What stands out even more this time is the included history book from the S.H.Figuarts Dragon Ball series.
This Jump Comics-sized book is designed to sit alongside the Dragon Ball manga and contains full-color information on over 200 figures, from the earliest releases up through items planned for October 2026.
It also includes interviews with the sculpting team behind the 〈ONWARDS TO ADVENTURE〉 figure, columns about the series’ evolution, and other features worth reading.
One highlight is a three-page comic by Toyotarou about the appeal of figures. His illustrations of the 〈ONWARDS TO ADVENTURE〉 Goku are especially striking.
This set is available for pre-order through online retailers and bookstores until March 31st. For more details, check the Dragon Ball official site.
