Welcome to another exciting episode of Weekly Dragon Ball News! Another month has gone by and tomorrow we will be officially in the month of July.
Starting with last week’s news, on Saturday, June 28th, Dragon Ball Super Card Game Fusion World Manga Booster 01 [SB01] went on sale. These cards feature manga cover illustration from Toriyama and also foil effects. At the same time, special card sleeves 03 are also available to protect your cards. They include SSJ Vegeta, Kame Symbol, SSJ Broly, and Tenkaiichi Tournament Building.
Also on Saturday, June 28th, Sandland the series began airing on TV and they spent a good part of this segment showing the extended trailer with all the characters. Not sure if this will ever make it stateside, but we will update here if it does.
For this week, on Monday, June 30th, the 13th installment of Dragon Ball Super Wafer seals goes on sale. These feature illustrations from the Saiyan to Frieza arc and feature god rare stickers with dynamic colored foil effects. The big release this month will probably be the Dragon Ball Daima Special, Blu-Ray, and DVD box sets that go on sale in Japan on Wednesday, July 2nd. No word when this will go on sale stateside, but it will come with exclusive illustrations by Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru as well as a special booklet. The limited edition comes with a beautiful illustrator box and many bonus items including special illustrations by Toriyama so make sure to check it out. Finally, on Friday, July 4th, the August edition of Saikyo Jump comes out in Japan. It will include information on the latest card games as well manga and Dragon Ball SD.
That’s it for now—thanks for tuning in, and have a Super Week!
