Welcome to another exciting episode of Weekly Dragon Ball News!
This was a longer episode and took a little longer to review. Starting with last week news, on Monday, July 14, Itajyaga Dragon Ball Vol. 7 hit stores in Japan. This is a popular potato snack with a collectible Dragon Ball card inside. We reviewed all the cards in a separate post. On Thursday, July 17, DB Super Divers 5th set went live in Japan. For this segment, they had project lead Master Diver Rui to introduce this set. He has the same energy as Kopei, with his own style and introduced all the cards from this set including Cell Arc, Metal Cooler Arc, Daima, and secret rare card. I’m sure there will be another post showing all of this soon! They are also having a campaign where you can get either a Goku, Vegeta, or Bardock card based on the dates. Also on Thursday, July 17, Dragon Ball Daima Part 1 was released for the game Dragon Ball Z Kakarot. Players can now go on adventures in the Demon Realm introduced in Dragon Ball Daima and fight against Tamagami Number Three. Finally, on Friday, July 18, the September Super Sized Edition of V-Jump went on sale in Japan.
For this week, SDCC 2025 will be from Thursday July 24 to Sunday July 27 in San Diego. There will be three S.H. Figuarts exclusives for Dragon Ball Including Gohan Beast, Great Ape Vegeta, and Demon King Piccolo. There will also be new episodes of DBSD this weekend as well. A bit light on news this week.
That’s it for now—thanks for tuning in, and have a Super Week!
