Hmph. So you’re here to hear about DRAGON BALL GEKISHIN SQUADRA, are you? Fine. Sit down, power up your puny little brain, and let me explain it the Saiyan Elite way.
Today, a couple of overexcited Earthlings, Victory Asada and Kawashima, dared to enter the battlefield at Bandai Namco to test out this brand-new team battle warzone! Gekishin Squadra is 4 vs. 4 carnage, where you don’t just fight, you dominate by capturing your enemy’s Dragon Ball. That’s right, invade their base, snatch the prize, and CRUSH their hopes. Sounds fun, doesn’t it?
They brought out the game’s creators, Yu and Toshi, decent enough fighters on paper, to explain the rules. You punch, blast, level up, and unleash ultimate attacks like Kamehameha and Spirit Bomb… if you’re into that sort of thing. Me? I prefer blowing things up with style and raw power.
You can use Kaioken, fire off Skills like Meteor Hammer, and if you’re good enough, transform, turning the battlefield into your own personal destruction zone. They even have me in the Tank role, of course. High endurance, unstoppable will, and unmatched pride. What else would you expect?
And get this, as you fight, you’ll face mid-bosses like Nappa (heh), and the truly dangerous Gods of Destruction. But don’t worry, when Zen-Oh shows up, those so-called “gods” cower like weaklings. That’s your chance to smash them with a Gekishin Burst! Timing, strategy, and teamwork matter here… not that I ever needed help.
Three roles define the battlefield:
- Damage – like that glory-hog Kakarot.
- Tank – obviously me, Vegeta.
- Technical – buffing and debuffing like sneaky little rats… looking at you, Frieza.
And yes, it’s cross-platform! Play on your phone, your console, your toaster for all I care, progress carries over. You can fight alongside friends anytime, anywhere. Even your grandma could probably land a few hits.
So what now? The REAL battle begins in Part 2, coming Monday, August 25th! Will they claim the Dragon Ball? Will Bojack finally learn his place beneath my boot? Will teamwork actually triumph over raw Saiyan strength?
