This is a review for Dragon Ball Daima epside 3 titled Daima. I will be going over the episode with spoilers so if you haven’t seen it by now, do not scroll past the image.
This episode starts off with Goku, Supreme Kai, and Glorio flying off into space in his space craft and they fly towards a warp-sama so they can get access to the Demon Realm. When they get there, the group encounters a giant metal looking gold fish that Goku points out, but Warp-Sama is not happy about being called a gold fish. Supreme Kai has to restrain Goku so they can pass. They learn that there are three demon realms in order of importance and they are to go to the third realm and not the first where King Gomah and Little Green are located.
Once they arrive they see the new world with it’s floating islands and they land the ship to get a view of the area. After they explore a little, they are attacked by the native people with spears and Glorio pulls out his blaster and starts shooting.
The group then flies into town to get a room and to eat food. They all sit down and Glorio orders hamburgers for everyone. Goku asks where the meat comes from, but is told not to ask. The other patrons at the bar don’t seem too happy with the outsiders and decide to attack them. Goku while eating takes them out with the power pole pretty handidly. When they finish eating and go outside they notice their ship is gone.
This episode starts off slow, but spends time building up the Demon Realm. I’ve read many comments comparing this to Star Wars and Glorio looking like an alien version of Han Solo. They even have similar blaster holders and boots while the bar scene is reminescent of the cantina scene in a New Hope.
