The V Jump November Special Issue, releasing Saturday, September 20th, includes a bonus card that could actually shift the tide in Fusion World: FP-050 “Son Goku: DA”, straight from the upcoming booster pack, “A Wish to Shenron [FB07]”, dropping Saturday, September 13th.
And before you ask, yes, it comes with a brand-new keyword skill: Evolution. This isn’t some pitiful transformation fluff. This is combat strategy refined. You take this card and stack it on top of “Son Goku: DA” or “Mini: DA” already in your Battle Area, and for just 2 skill cost, you bypass the full 5-cost price. Instant deployment. Devastating efficiency. That’s how warriors fight.
But here’s where it really gets interesting, its on-play and on-attack skill cripples your opponent’s Battle Cards… if your Leader card has “DA” in the name. If it doesn’t? Then maybe you’re not ready for this level of battle.
Pair this card with its natural counterpart, “Son Goku (Mini): DA”, also from FB07. That Mini form hits the field, gains +10,000 Power for the turn, and then evolves into the real deal, FP-050, retaining that power boost. That’s called stacking your advantage, something most of you probably still don’t understand.
The Mini’s got another trick too, a flexible deployment skill and an attack ability that helps replenish your hand, balancing out the Evolution mechanic’s card drain. It’s designed for those who think ahead, not just swing wildly like a clown in orange.
And there’s more: an Extra Card that lets you KO one of your opponent’s Battle Cards, if you’ve got the right “Evolution” unit in play. So yes, with proper timing, you can completely erase their so-called trump card before it even breathes. No mercy. That’s how I like it.
