Let’s take a look at what’s been happening in the Dragon Ball universe for the week of February 9th. But before we jump ahead, there’s some big news from last week worth catching up on.

Saikyo Jump’s March issue hit shelves in Japan on Wednesday, February 4th, and it’s packed. The magazine includes a special Dragon Ball Super Divers campaign where applicants can score the “Strongest Saiyan Pack,” a three-card set featuring Goku: BR, Vegeta: BR, and Broly: BR. On top of that, there’s a bonus Super Saiyan 2 Goku card included just for Divers.

That’s not all. There’s also a scratch-off giveaway where lucky readers can win an official deck box, plus a special feature spotlighting Divers’ brand-new 8th set. The issue rounds things out with plenty more Dragon Ball coverage, including updates on DBSCG Fusion World, DRAGON BALL GEKISHIN SQUADRA, and more, along with the latest chapters of Dragon Ball SD and Let’s! Super Dive!!.

Next up, the Dragon Ball Kamehameha Charm Collection started appearing in Gashapon machines across Japan in early February. These two-layer, die-cut acrylic charms feature Akira Toriyama’s illustrations and were created to celebrate Dragon Ball’s 40th anniversary. From Goku’s early attempts at the Kamehameha to his climactic battle with Majin Buu, the lineup captures ten unforgettable moments of that iconic attack, complete with dynamic sound effects that really stand out.

Here are a few other hot topics from last week. The Dragon Ball Legends World Championship 2025–2026 Finals were held on Saturday, February 7th. The Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle 11th Anniversary Campaign Part 2 announcement broadcast is also available to watch on YouTube for a limited time. And on Sunday, February 8th, an invitation-only event took place, applications are now officially closed.

Dragon Ball 40th Anniversary Original Illustration Sticker Wafers 2 went on sale in Japan on Monday, February 9th. One of the creators behind the product stopped by to share the details, so be sure to check out the video.

Matsumoto from the Bandai Candy Division explains that this second wave includes 42 gorgeous stickers, each based on a manga illustration from the original Dragon Ball series. Every volume is represented, from major story beats to legendary battles. The stickers feature an extra-luxurious finish with shimmering gold and silver holographic double foil. You can find them in snack aisles across Japan starting February 9th, so keep an eye out.

More highlights this week include new crane game prizes. Dragon Ball Super MATCH MAKERS Ultra Instinct Goku versus Jiren arrives on Tuesday, February 10th, followed by Jiren versus Ultra Instinct Goku from the same line on the same day. As always, product details are subject to change.
