Majin Rob — Fri, 12 Jul 2019 19:51:51 +0000

The Grandista line is releasing a “manga dimensions” color scheme version of its Goku figure. As we’ve come to expect, it’ll be set in the same pose we often see in this line, but this time it’ll feature the cel shaded “manga dimensions” paint scheme.

Keep your eyes peeled, this figure is set to release next month in August, 2019!

Additionally, some SCultures re-releases are slated for next month as well: Super Saiyan Goku and Super Saiyan 2 Gohan.

Banpresto Zoukei Tenkaichi Budoukai 7 / SCultures 7 VOTING RESULTS

Majin Rob — Thu, 29 Dec 2016 02:54:17 +0000

Banpresto’s annual Zoukei Tenkaichi Budoukai 7 / SCultures 7 contest has come to a close. As we’ve discussed here at DBZFigures.com before, three of the competitors are new comers, while the other three are tournament veterans. Adding an extra level of drama to this particular event is the rivalry between Ito and Nakazawa, who went head to head with their respective “Super Saiyan 3 Son Goku” designs in SCultures 6. While Ito came out on top, Nakazawa’s design was the runner up of the tournament and proved a popular design.

For those who missed it, the six competing figures and sculptors are as follows:

Son Goku by Ito Yuki
Hercule by Inasaka Hiroyoshi
Bulma by Kai TK
Broly by Jun Sato
Piccolo by Nakazawa Hiroyuki
Super Saiyan 2 Gohan by HYO

Voting concluded on December 23rd, 2016 and today the result was announced with the official winner being Hercule (Mr. Satan) by Inasaka Hiroyoshi. In an interview conducted by Banpresto, Inasaka Hiroyoshi was quoted as saying he chose Hercule as his character entry because “Purely Mr Satan was the character I liked the most.”

For those who are curious, all six figures will be produced and released, the schedule for this can be found below, though it is still unclear which figures will be released during June and May:

May:
Dragon Ball Z SCultures BIG modeling Tenkaichi Budokai 7 (1) (Mr. Satan) (all two)
