Prime 1 Studio Next Level Showcase

shinra25 — Fri, 25 Sep 2020 17:18:30 +0000

The other day, Prime 1 Studio released an almost three hour video showing off all of their product lines including the previously announced Son Goku and Vegeta statues. They also teased their third release, which is obviously Frieza, who is introduced as the Emperor of the Universe. All they showed was a silhouette of the statute and the logos before the sneak peak seemed longer and more detailed than the actual image. You can check out the Dragon Ball products starting at the 2:28:00 mark. Also, for some reason they used the double F icon to introduce Dragon Ball and I’m not too sure what that is. If anyone knows, please comment!

Prime 1 Studio and MegaHouse have teamed up to bring a premium level and officially licensed resin statue to the market. Up until now, not much information has been available. But now we’ve got some key talking points, most importantly of all: pricing.

The Prime 1 Studio x MegaHouse Super Saiyan Son Goku Mega Premium Masterline resin statue will come in two version; the DX version, being the more expensive of the two, and the base version.

The DX (premium) version will come with LED effects and three extra heads to interchange as you see fit. The statue, using the base Super Saiyan head will stand at 63.6cm in height, however, if you opt to use the included Super Saiyan 3 head it will stand a little taller at 65.9cm. You will be paying a bit more for this version, as it will be retailing for an impressive price: $1400.00~.

The base level statue will only come with one head piece, being the regular Super Saiyan head. It will stand at 63.6cm, respectively. This version alleviates a bit of the heavy burden of the DX version, as the base model will retail at $1150~.

Prime 1 Studio and MegaHouse are teaming up to bring us what appears to be one incredible looking Super Saiyan Goku statue! Some photos have made their way to us from MegaHobby 2019 in Akiba and they’re more than impressive!

Prime 1 Studio is mostly known for their work in bringing television and video game scenes to life in impressive resin statues. Seeing them collaborate with MegaHouse on this piece is exciting, as the Dragon Ball resin market is dominated by the likes of Tsume and XCeed.

There’s not much else to say, as all we’re being told is “more information soon”, so I guess all we can do is bask our eyes on this glorious sight:
