On with the news! You all might remember, we recently posted about how Bandai is moving the purchase methodology for their web exclusives to an online store that they run themselves. This is how things have been run in Japan for quite some time now and it would appear that Bandai is envisioning a similar approach for the United States demographic.

The first two figures to be sold in this way are going to be the Super Saiyan Blue Vegito and Zamasu. Subsequently, we have the official photos of both these figures to share with you now:

Tamashii Nations and Bandai have recently made the announcement that the upcoming Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Vegito will be available only at Premium Bandai. All of this is set to begin on April, 2nd and to further matters, interested parties must register with Premium Bandai before they’re able to make any orders.

Could this be the beginning of a new era and methodology for attaining exclusives? What are your thoughts on this change? Sound off in the comments section.

No details on an official release date yet, but I suspect those details will likely come very soon. It’s not like this is a brand new sculpt that requires tooling to perfect and thusly won’t see release for years or months.

Looks like we will start seeing this naming convention continue through out the S.H. Figuarts line. Much like we’ve seen in the recent S.H. Figuarts Chi Chi and its “Girls Generation” designation.

New York Toy Fair 2020 is coming up this weekend, February 22-25. So we don’t exactly have long to wait for more pictures and details on included accessories. So until then, here’s what Tamashii revealed just moments ago:

Remember, the Vegito figure will also have another packaging variant, as we reported yesterday. Not sure which version the photo below represents though.

It’s hard to say if this packaging design variant will become a standard from here on out, be it for exclusives or the rest of the line. But I can speak for myself when I say I hope it’s an exclusive design for these three releases, that’d make these pretty special releases.
