The official site just announced this new Vegeta figure from Figure-rise. These are like gundams where you have to put together yourself. Goku previously released with the new joints and now Vegeta gets an update as well. Check it out below. I will provide an update when BBTS announces their pre-order!

Figure-rise Standard Son Goku New Spec

Bandai hobby just dropped a slick video of a New Spec Son Goku Figure-rise standard figure. It almost looks like Imagination Works in their promotion of the new figure, but the joints look seamless and the posability looks good as well. I haven’t built on of these before, I have built some Gundam models when i was a kid, but lately I have been too lazy to build these, and a lot of the comments I hear are that because the whole thing is pretty hollow inside, they dont display well without some type of stand. If you build these figures, let me know in the comments what you think.

Dragon Ball Figure-rise Standard Ultimate Gohan

Figure-rise is releasing an Ultimate Gohan figure in October. What is interesting about this is that the super saiyan head is from the future trunks ark where gohan has a huge scar going down the right side of his face. However it doesn’t look like he will be missing an arm though. Cost will be 2750 yen.

Bandai’s action figure model kit line, Figure-rise Standard, will be expanding into character designs from Dragon Ball GT with the release of a Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta kit. The set will become available for pre-order in October, 2019 and see a Japanese release date of January, 2020.

The figure’s Japanese retail price is set at 3,000JPY and the kit will come with a rather impressive looking ki-blast effect.

More Dragon Ball Tour Exclusives Revealed

The official Dragon Ball Tour website has been updated to reveal several new tour exclusives. Now a days it’s fair to expect one or two S.H. Figuarts exclusives, but I was surprised to see a total of four. This is especially impressive when you consider the fact that S.H. Figuarts isn’t the only line getting exclusives.

The likes of Figure-rise Standard and Figuarts ZERO are getting their very own exclusives, as well. With Figure-rise Standard releasing a Super Saiyan Gogeta and Figuarts ZERO releasing a Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta.

Figure-rise Standard, Bandai’s Dragon Ball themed model kit line, keeps pushing the boundaries with their extremely detailed and surprisingly articulated releases. They also release character designs that we can’t seem to get in other popular figure lines, like S.H. Figuarts. This coming release is no exception.

Coming in August, 2019 is the Figure-rise Standard Gogeta. It will be priced at 3240JPY.

Figure-rise Standard ‘Dragon Ball Super: Broly’: SSGSS Goku & SSGSS Vegeta

New Figure-rise Standard model kits of Goku and Vegeta are slated for release in honor of the upcoming Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie. The model kits will be priced at a modest 2,700JPY / $23.99~ and be released November, 2018 via Japanese retailers. Additionally, each figure will come with its own ki blast effect.

Worth noting; the Figure-rise Standard Broly model kit comes with additional faces for both of these kits. The Figure-rise Standard Broly kit is set for release in January, 2019, fresh off the heels of the movie release. The faces for both Goku and Vegeta express pain, which is pretty appropriate considering they’re come packaged with the Broly kit.

Dragon Ball Super: Broly will see its initial release in Japanese theaters on December 14th, 2018. For those of you reading from North America, you can expect to see the movie see a limited theater run in January, 2019.

The official photos of Figure-rise Standard Vegetto are here and it looks like it’ll come with one impressive ki blast / effect piece and a Buu accessory. Check the photos out to get an idea of why those two included accessories should make you more pumped than ever before for a Figure-rise Standard release!

This model kit will be released in August, 2018 and retail at 3,024JPY. The wait might seem long, so until then pick up the Figure-rise Standard Piccolo kit, which was released this month.
