San Diego Comic Con Gallery and Thoughts

Another San Diego Comic Con has come and gone and with this year’s event there’s a lot to take away in the Dragon Ball world. We saw the most event exclusives of any other year, we saw Dragon Ball Super: Broly footage and we saw the debut of the first ever “Dragon Ball Tour”.

The convention is known for its exclusives and often times the hype surrounding them is a bit much to deal with. The Funimation booth was under a lot of scrutiny by the fire marshall and as a result, they didn’t sell as many of the “Metallic Whis” Funko POP! figure that many collectors were frothing at the mouth over.

The Tamashii Nations booth was selling not one, not two, but three exclusive S.H. Figuarts exclusives. The figures are also going to be available on the remaining dates of the Dragon Ball Tour, so expect the third party prices on these to drop. A little patience may go a long way, if you’re concerned about spending too much.

Looking beyond all of this, New York Comic Con isn’t too far off and the rumors of the convention exclusives are already swirling. The hype train is going to take a small break, before revving back up into motion.

Until then, let’s all get some rest, enjoy this excellent photo gallery provided by our friend Alan Esco and get some much deserved rest.
