Just when I thought we had seen the last of the Figuarts ZERO line, they go and step their game up with this Broly statue! Behold, friends, for the Figuarts ZERO Super Saiyan Broly -The Burning Battles- statue is upon us with a (tentative?) release date of January, 2019. I only say “tentative” because the Shonen Jump Calendar has the date marked as “temporary”, meaning the release date is subject to change.
The price point is at 8500JPY plus tax, which according to the exchange rate at this very moment equals out to $78.30~. Though it is unlikely we will see this statue priced at that exact price for North American consumers.
This figure looks awesome. The pose and how menacing and psychotic he looks. It capture Broly really well. However, i dont like how the hair is so translucent, it seems out of place because it dont match up with the rest of the colors. I may have to modify the energy ball and add actual lights to it. May get my friend to repaint the hair to match up with the color pallet.
Nice figure, I just wish it wasn’t so pricey. I’m also still hoping they’ll release that Raditz one someday.
Any news on the next wave of Shodo 3.75″ action figures? I’ve looked everywhere and cant find anything.
