Featured Collector #8: The Incredible Collection of Richie Shia

Richie Shia is a personal friend of mine and like myself, he is also a member of the United States Armed Forces. Being in the military can have its perks and for Richie Shia, one of those perks is having the opportunity to live in Japan. This gives the man access to rare figures without the marked up prices and shipping costs, not to mention he’s able to get his hands on new figures before they’re made available to international markets.

Here’s what the man himself had to say about his collecting hobby:

Hello! My name is Richie Shia. I am an avid and hardcore Dragon Ball figure/statue collector. As of December 2015, I have been collecting for 16 months.

My passion and dedication for the hobby ignited a spark as soon as I got orders here in Japan. I am currently serving in the US Air Force and my time here is limited. Knowing that Japan is the motherland of all things anime, especially Dragon Ball..I have no time to waste!
